Fans of the popular Revit Technology Conference worldwide series of events will be pleased to know that a trifecta of exciting announcements have been made regarding future events.

In chronological order, the first note relates to RTC Europe 2016, which is set for October 20th-22nd, 2016. A record number of 170 speaker abstracts were submitted to the committee, with the review process already under way.

The RTC committee are to meet in Porto next month to put further plans in place for the autumn event, which includes finalising who will be conducting the all-important classes. If you have submitted a proposal, look out for a message in your inbox next month!

Sticking with Porto, and it is not just RTC Europe heading to the Alfândega Congress Centre. One of RTC’s newest spin-off events, the RTC Building Content Summit is also heading to Portugal. Having debuted in Washington DC last year and continuing in Scottsdale for 2016, the expansion to Europe is certainly exciting news for BIM content creators, manufacturers and users.

Finally, the location for RTC Asia 2017 has been announced. Despite being over a year away, March’s event will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! The RTC blog states that the location was chosen as “Malaysia has a growing thirst for BIM”.
