Mark down October 20th in your calendars!

The above date will be when the Institution of Civil Engineers present their ICE BIM 2016 event, the sixth in the industry group’s history.

People can sign-up at here to be amongst the first to hear about discounted early registration. More great news is that unlike last year, the event will not clash with the likes of Digital Construction Week or the CIBSE Building Performance Conference & Exhibition, meaning there are no excuses for you not to attend the ICE event!

In addition to conference news, the ICE have also revealed details of their next BIM-centric webinar.

Multi-Site File Collaboration Tools in the BIM Environment will feature speakers from AECOM and AGi Architects, in addition to an introduction from ICE Senior Vice-President, Tim Broyd.

The official synopsis for the February 24th online event writes: “Through a couple of case studies the presentation will look at the ways for fast and reliable file sharing and collaboration with external organisations and project partners.

“The presentation will be followed by an interactive session with the audience, to explore even further the challenges of utilising BIM in projects that demand collaboration on a greater scale.”

More information on the webinar can be found here, and additional updates on the ICE BIM conference will be available via the ICE BIM Twitter.
