Future BIM Implementation KSA: Saudi Council of Ministers to be represented

The first annual Future BIM Implementation KSA is shaping up to be quite the event for the Saudi Building Information Modelling community, with representation from the Saudi Council of Ministers confirmed.

Dr. Habib Zein Alabideen, Undersecretary from Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs will be delivering the keynote for #FBIK16, which takes place on February 29th and March 1st.

Alabideen will discuss Saudi’s infrastructure market on Day One, highlighting key projects that have been completed and that are being carried out currently.

Another influential body represented will be the Ministry of Defense and Aviation. Their Head of Engineering Division Salman Algarni will conduct the second day’s keynote.

Future BIM Implementation KSA was originally scheduled for November 2015, but was postponed “further to feedback and requests from key participants … in order to maximize attendance and optimize the networking and learning experience.”
