How has your 2015 been in relation to Building Information Modelling? Are you on track to meet the Government’s Level 2 mandate of April 4th, 2016, or are you still waiting on higher figures within your business to wise up and see the benefits?

Whatever your experience, NBS are looking for your input for their sixth annual NBS National BIM Survey.

Results from the NBS National BIM Survey 2016 will be released in Spring next year, but it is up to us as an industry to step forward and share our experiences to reflect the UK‘s efforts as a whole.

What type of software do you use? Do you think the UK are leading the way globally? What percentage of your projects is BIM utilised on? The NBS are wanting to know so that they can build as accurate a representation of our industry as possible.

The most intriguing result is sure to be relating to BIM adoption as a whole, as last year‘s report was down on 2014’s findings. Despite being closer to the mandate coming into effect, 48% of 2015’s respondents were utilising BIM, down from 54% in 2014.
