Want to speak at GEO Business 2016? The Call for Papers to apply to do so is now open.

Next year’s conference will be held at the Business Design Centre in London, UK from May 24th – 25th, 2016, and organisers Diversified Communications are looking for “revolutionary and thought provoking abstracts that truly demonstrate the remarkable impact geospatial technologies and solutions are having on our global environment”.

Building Information Modelling processes in-conjunction with geospatial techniques can lead to projects with an abundance of captured data, ultimately leading to enhanced information management. Anyone with expertise in that area, in addition to the likes of geospatial economic efficiency, infrastructure and sustainability is sought after by the conference organisers.

BIMcrunch spoke with buildingSMART UK‘s Anne Kemp on geospatial and BIM data being utilised alongside one another earlier this year.

“On behalf of my fellow committee members, it gives me great pleasure to welcome interested parties to submit an abstract for the GEO Business 2016 Call for Papers,” said Ian Bush, Conference Chairman. “We look forward to receiving thought provoking abstracts from all corners of the industry and formulating an exciting programme that will educate, entertain and entice delegates from around the globe.”

In addition to speakers taking to the rostrum, a free exhibition with over 200 businesses is part of the conference, as are a series of free workshops sessions.
