The integral presence of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) – or Drones as they are also known – on one of the world’s most exciting infrastructure projects will be discussed at an upcoming industry event.

The diverse functionality of drones on London’s ambitious Crossrail project will be spotlit at SkyTech 2016, the tradeshow dedicated to advancing the European commercial drone industry.

Representing Crossrail is William Reddaway, Innovation & Reporting Consultant. With drone utilisation quite a recent construction innovation, William will certainly have the credentials to explain how they have been used and to what extent.

If you are unaware of the potential of drones, especially in regards to a Building Information Modelling workflow, then this presentation will provide more information.

SkyTech is taking place on January 27th-28th, 2016 at the Business Design Centre in London, UK. The B1M are going to be there, filming an episode of their exciting construction tech video series, D-Construct.
