Audio Exclusive: Rebecca De Cicco talks future Women in BIM plans, support from Autodesk’s Phil Bernstein

The next edition of our audio interview series Crunch Time will be released tomorrow, and our guest will be none other than Women in BIM Founder, Rebecca De Cicco.

Rebecca – also Director of design consultancy Digital Node – speaks with BIMcrunch Editor Jack White on topics such as her diverse number of career roles, the difference between working in Australia and the UK, starting her own business and whether the importance of attending BIM industry events is on the decline.

In a preview snippet below, Rebecca discusses support she has had from various figures in the industry, including Autodesk‘s Vice President, Phil Bernstein. De Cicco explains that she will be speaking with Bernstein at Autodesk University next month in Las Vegas, US about how they can work together to move the initiative forward.

Rebecca also notes that it is important for everyone in the industry to realise that diversity of paramount importance, and the support of both males and females will be crucial to achieving that balance.
