BIMcrunch are proud to act as Media Partner to the very best collection of Building Information Modelling conferences across the world, and we are delighted to team up with another which is sure to be pulsating with BIM brainpower.
Taking place on November 5th, 2015 at Qatar University in Doha, Qatar, the fifth annual BIM User Day hosted by HOCHTIEF ViCon (in association with Teesside University) is to receive promotional treatment from BIMcrunch.
So why did we decide to work alongside BIM User Day 2015? The answer is obvious. This event has a track record for being of the highest quality. Attracting hundreds of delegates each time, the conference is one of the biggest in the Middle East and to be enlisted as a Partner is an honour for us.
What can professionals expect from the conference? Christoph Weber, Managing Director of HOCHTIEF ViCon Qatar, explained: “BIM is about people, processes, technology and policy. Without having teams capable to manage these four components, the potential of BIM remains untapped. The new generation professionals need to be specifically trained on managing various BIM aspects on project level. Universities and companies also need to play a big role in filling this gap on the BIM job market. The BIM User Day brings industry experts on one platform with young professionals and students for interaction.”
Commenting on the partnership, BIMcrunch Editor Jack White said: “HOCHTIEF ViCon and Teesside University are leaders in their respective fields when it comes to BIM implementation and tutelage respectively. To collaborate with them on an event comprising of both of their specialisms is a fantastic opportunity for us. We are regular promoters of their hard work and can’t wait to help showcase another avenue in which they support our industry.”
The agenda for the event has not yet been disclosed but we will bring you all of the latest details as soon as they are available!
