Sarah is a well-known event speaker within the community, and her passion for BIM and expertise in law has made her a go-to name for opinions on legal matters relating to BIM projects. Her varied background, which includes the aforementioned knowledge and experience as Contracts Manager and CAD Engineer, will ensure that she can engage the professionals in the South East of the UK when the Hub host their own evenings of discussion.
“I’m delighted that Sarah can join our Hubs team,” declared John Eynon, the South East BIM Hub’s other co-BIM Champion. “She brings her legal insights into BIM but will also be focusing on Digital Diversity and Generational Change issues. Her passion and commitment to transforming our industry will be invaluable as we work together and move forward. Sarah is the first of several additions to our team and other changes designed to increase the impact and outreach of the Hubs across the UK.”
Sarah herself also released comment on her appointment in a role she is “relishing”: “I am thrilled to be joining John Eynon and to become joint champion for the South East. The construction industry is taking great steps forward and I am delighted to be a part of that momentum, both within the BIM specific field and also in the Digital Diversity and Generational Change spectrum. I am relishing the opportunity to work with developing and supporting the Hubs and impacting the wider industry for digitally enabled change.”
The SE BIM Hub are set to appear at Digital Construction Week‘s Digital Construction Show as part of a BIM4 Communities Village that will see BIM4 groups and Regional BIM Hubs unite together under one roof so that interested professionals can witness and engage with the entire spectrum of industry groups on offer.
