IDP awarded Chachapoyas-Amazonas hospital BIM project in Peru

Spanish engineering firm IDP have landed a huge hospital project in Peru with Building Information Modelling set to be utilised.

The Pedro Ruiz Consortium have awarded IDP the contract to implement BIM on the Referential Health Network Hospital of Chachapoyas-Amazonas.

The project will comprise of four buildings in total, each specialising in a unique healthcare functionality such as emergencies, external consultancies, intensive care and obstetrics.

The announcement follows the start of other hospital projects for IDP in Brazil, with the new development strengthening their position as a preferred choice for engineering solutions in South America in addition to their home territory of Spain.
