Final list of speakers and conference programme confirmed for ICE BIM 2015

ICE BIM 2015 is just over three weeks away and the final list of speakers has been confirmed by the Institution of Civil Engineers in addition to the entire conference programme.

Following initial confirmation of AtkinsAnne Kemp, James Eaton of Laing O’Rourke and Crossrail‘s Malcolm Taylor and spotlight on James’ presentation alongside details of talks from BAM Nuttall‘s Ivor Barbrook and Darren Cunningham of the London Underground, we can now bring you concrete details of all professionals taking to the stage.

The BIM Task Group‘s Mark Bew will Chair the conference, opening it with his address looking at industry transformation. Following his presentation, Research Engineer on WSP/Parson Brinckerhoff‘s BIM Leadership Team, Tom Bartley will lead a real-time, collaborative BIM design demonstration alongside some of his BIM2050 cohorts. Laing O’Rourke’s John Roberts will be joining him.

ICE BIM continues with Matt Wheelis of Autodesk with Peter Debney of Oasys Software following shortly afterwards. After lunch, BIM for asset management is focused upon by Ajith Parlikad of Cambridge University before Dr. Parkilad hosts a panel discussion with Karen Alford of The Environment Agency, Alex Bywaters of Highways England and Richard Moore of Transport for London.

BIM for rail projects will also be discussed with representation from HS2 and Network Rail as the day concludes. Quite the conference I think you will agree!
