Following their fantastic insight into the Top 10 Building Information Modelling acronyms last week, The B1M have this week provided an in-depth look at one of those very abbreviations, EIRs – Employer’s Information Requirements.

Hot on the heels of our exclusive preview relating to The B1M’s #SocialBIM and D-Construct web series, The B1M’s latest visual offering focuses on EIRs, and Fred Mills helps viewers understand their importance.

“Now if you’re a client, you’ve probably got a pretty good idea about the information you would like to see from your project team during the delivery phase as your project is being designed and priced up. You’ve also probably got a pretty clear idea about the information you would like to see at handover to be able to run your building and get the very best out of it.

“Employer’s Information Requirements or EIRs are the document where those needs are set out.”

Good luck to both The B1M and Su Butcher as they begin filming new episodes of #SocialBIM tomorrow!
