Building Information Modelling knowledge exchange network thinkBIM have announced details of their Autumn Series of seminars.

Fresh off news of their thinkBIMxtra simulcast, information surrounding three new events has been unveiled, and two of them will enter uncharted territory for the industry group – infrastructure BIM.

The first event, with the homonymic Building Bridges with BIM title, will feature a case study from AECOM and Mott MacDonald looking at Ordsall Chord Bridge. New methods of contract delivery will also be discussed at this conference, taking place on October 7th.

On November 4th, the regulatory side of BIM will be uncovered, with thinkBIM aiming to identify “how digital processes can ensure better compliance and reduce risk on projects”.

Finally on December 2nd, infrastructure will crop up again, and conversations relating to BIM for landscape will also be taking place. Representatives from the Environment Agency, the Highways Agency and the Landscape Institute will be taking to the rostrum.

No specific speakers have yet been announced, yet we endeavour to bring you that news when it becomes available. To book your place for the Autumn Series, click here.
