BIM, Information Management and CAD solutions provider Cadventure have announced details of BIM Question Time, a breakfast event taking place in September that will debate BIM vendor solutions and interoperability between them.
Prof. David Philp, the BIM Task Group‘s Head of BIM and AECOM‘s BIM Director – EMEA will chair the discussion that will feature independent BIM professionals who have experience utilising various software platforms sharing thoughts about which perform best for certain tasks, and how model sharing and coordination can happen amongst them.
Autodesk Revit, Bentley AECOSIM, GRAPHISOFT ARCHICAD and Nemetschek Vectorworks are just some of the software choices that will be conversed about, with Carl Collins of Arup Associates, Weston & Williamson‘s Neil Sharpe, Stephen Holmes from Foster & Partners, TFL professional Darren Cunningham, and John Ball, Robin Partington Architects exchanging opinion on data integrity, BIM standards, inter-disciplinary workflows and more.
The event takes place on September 10th, 2015 at The Building Centre, London and tickets are only £30 including VAT.
We are delighted to announce our status as Media Partner to the event. As part of that position, a future edition of Crunch Time will give you even more details surrounding the event just days before the action takes place.
“BIM Question Time is a truly unique event where guests will be able to soak up expert, impartial advice from professionals regarding BIM software with the importance of collaboration at the heart of discussion,” explained Jack White, BIMcrunch Editor.
He continued: “We are proud to be associated with an event of such calibre that contains fantastic speakers, an ultra-talented chair in David Philp and is centred around what should be compelling conversation.”
Cadventure’s MD, Elaine Lewis also discussed working with BIMcrunch, stating: “Cadventure’s BIM Question Time is focused on independent views of BIM solutions and how the industry are using these tools as part of their BIM projects. With the reach of BIMcrunch, its drive and focus made it the right media partner to work with. We look forward to continuing this partnership.”
