Knowledge of how Building Information Modelling workflows can benefit the facilities management sector is rapidly on the rise, and a new event organised by the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) will continue to further the discussion.
BIFM North’s Key Learning Event: BIM, Soft Landings & Facilities Management will take place in the Brooks Building of Manchester Metropolitan University on September 9th, 2015.
Confirmed to present to delegates include: BAM FM‘s Managing Director, Kath Fontana; BIM Academy‘s Senior Project Manager, Graham Kelly; and Head of Property Asset Management at the Ministry of Justice, Deborah Rowland.
The Brooks Building is an incredibly appropriate venue for hosting the conference, as BIM was utilised during its build. A representative from the university will discuss how pivotal BIM was in the creation of the building.
