Allen is in the country for Autodesk University Australia (AUAU, you could say!) and in addition to her appearance at her company’s flagship event “Down Under”, Lynn will also be appear at BrisBIM, one of the leading conferences in the #BIMANZ region that has since inspired the creation of symposiums such as MelBIM and the newly-announced SydBIM.
Commenting exclusively to BIMcrunch on the event, BrisBIM Founder Mark Cronin told us: “The next BrisBIM gathering is shaping up nicely with a three part multi-dis case study of a rail project, a forum discussion on the selection of BIM management plans, and Lynn Allen presenting on BIM in the cloud, along with our usual BIM industry news.
“After being tipped off that our event was a few days after Autodesk University Australia, we contacted Lynn through her blog, provided some background on BrisBIM, and she agreed to present!”
We also reached out to BrisBIM Committee Member, Tom de Plater for comment on Lynn’s appearance, and he stated: “The next BrisBIM is set to be our biggest yet. The committee is very pleased to announce guest speaker, Lynn Allen, who is presenting after our newly introduced forum session. The event will conclude with a 4D BIM case study by Laing O’Rourke, MODE Architects & Hyder Consulting.
“It’s exciting to see how much pace the Australian events are gaining from industry professionals, speakers and attendees alike.”
The next BrisBIM event takes place on August 26th, and you can register to attend here.
