Today is the long awaited day that bimstore‘s platform in the United States, bimstore.us has launched. We’ve covered the launch and the event that bimstore are Gold Sponsors at later today, where they will talk about their Stateside platform in Washington DC.

Whilst all of that promotion is well and good, we thought to take another step and go behind the scenes to learn more about the deal between Space Group and Read | Thomas. How did the deal come about? How will the agreement work? What expertise do Read | Thomas bring to the table to help facilitate bimstore’s US expansion?

BIMcrunch posed all of the above to Adam Thomas, COO at Read | Thomas. He spoke to BIMcrunch Editor, Jack White and talked about today’s big launch shortly before he was scheduled to fly out to RTC’s Building Content Summit to deliver the keynote presentation alongside his business partner Phil Read and bimstore’s Founder, Adam Ward.

In this Crunch Time special, Thomas discusses his “respect crush” on Adam Ward’s work ethic, the US mascot Bill the Buffalo, and what the plan of action is for the brand now that it has launched.
