The agenda for Revit Technology Conference‘s inaugural Building Content Summit in Washington D.C has been unveiled.

Kicking off on July 22nd, 2015, the one-day event will be the platform that bimstore will launch their US portal from, bimstore.us. bimstore.co.uk was the United Kingdom‘s first BIM content creation platform allowing specifiers to download manufacturer specific content. The Space Group owned business now hope to match their success Stateside following a US partnership with Read | Thomas.

“Developing bimstore into North America has always been in our plans,” stated Rob Charlton, bimstore Director and the CEO of Space Group when the US launch was announced. “However we wanted to wait until we found the right partner who had the same passion for digital construction as we do. We have no doubt we have found that partner in Read | Thomas. We have known Phil and Adam for a number of years and are delighted to be working together.”

bimstore Founder Adam Ward will be on-hand at the BCS alongside both Adam Thomas and Phil Read of Read | Thomas and bimstore have been named Gold Sponsor.

Elsewhere, BCS Co-Chairs Parley Burnett (of INVIEW labs), Randall Stevens (of ArchVision) and Wesley Benn (of the University of New South Wales) will host several presentations/discussions and other symposiums will be conducted by Grundfos, Perkins + Will and YTL Corporation.
