Appearances from bimstore at two major Stateside events – the inaugural RTC Building Content Summit later this month and Autodesk University in December – had already been confirmed, and today’s declaration of company growth now gives more understanding as to why bimstore had planned to venture to the States. The former event aforementioned will be the first chance for American professionals to view the platform and the manufacturers that are on-board.
Partnering with bimstore to achieve the ‘American Dream’ are Read | Thomas, an independent consultancy providing business continuity to designers, builders, manufacturers and owners. Their renowned skillset including real time visualisation and virtual reality utilisation will certainly compliment bimstore’s passion for creating bold and unique solutions for their clients, such as iOS applications bimstore Eye and Specifi.
“Developing bimstore into North America has always been in our plans,” explained Rob Charlton, bimstore Director and CEO of Space Group. “However we wanted to wait until we found the right partner who had the same passion for digital construction as we do. We have no doubt we have found that partner in Read|Thomas. We have known Phil and Adam for a number of years and are delighted to be working together.”
Now that an increasing number of bimstore manufacturers have wanted to push their products further afield has aligned with the right partners stepping forward with interest, there hasn’t been a more perfect opportunity for bimstore to being their next exciting chapter.
Also sharing his comments on the launch was Read | Thomas COO and Co-Founder, Adam Thomas. He said: “One thing that we believe at Read|Thomas is that you can have a great product or service but without the ecosystem to support the product or service it will not succeed.”
He continued: “In bimstore’s case, it’s not just about creating content, it’s about the ecosystem of managing, delivery and analysing the content. The other key distinguisher is that the content is industry neutral while maintaining robustness. What we are am most excited about is the ability to further extend our own ecosystem to clients through the bimstore relationship.”
The bimstore.us website is now live with a teaser countdown. The complete online portal will launch at midnight on July 21st, 2015, a few hours before the RTC Building Content Summit takes place on July 22nd, 2015.
