The shortlist of nominees has been announced for the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and BIM4SME‘s 2015 Awards.

The inaugural RICS BIM4SME Awards event has been created with assistance from the BIM Task Group to celebrate the success of UK-based small and medium enterprises and their implementation of Building Information Modelling. Whilst BIM is often perceived as a process only large practices can afford and are taking part, that is definitely not the case, with these awards looking to highlight those who are achieving major benefits.

Bond Bryan Architects are leading the pack with three nominations whilst Coombs Ltd., Howard Russell Construction, Links Project Management and Terence Kiney Associates received two nods each.

Hotly-contested categories include ‘Best BIM Project – Small or Micro Enterprise‘, a group that has five practices battling it out including Edwards Architecture and Longland Developments. Best SME Newcomer is also jam-packed with five nominees hoping to take home the prize.
