The second-ever GreenBIM conference – a joint venture between Green Vision and thinkBIM – took place yesterday and impressed those in attendance and on social media as perhaps the most high-profile selection of speakers thus far discussed collaboration, sustainability and validation solutions.
Despite taking place on April 1st, there was certainly no fooling around as the likes of buildingSMART UK Vice Chair Anne Kemp and Cubicle Centre‘s Brand and Marketing Director Craig Sewell all gave insight and guidance to those at home or work watching; for the first time, GreenBIM was also streamed live.
The conference also saw the debut of Pecha Kucha presentations, where guest speakers present 20-slide presentations, with each page automatically changed to the next every 20 seconds. Steve Brunning, Rapid5D Managing Director and Mark Francis, Account Manager at Leica Geosystems both delivered these succinct talks to a positive reception. Su Butcher, Founder of Just Practising chaired the event.
