This year’s GEO Business conference has been announced, as have the speakers who will be talking Building Information Modelling at the eagerly-anticipated event.
Following last year’s inaugural presentation, GEO Business 2015 is shaping up to be an even bigger and better occasion, with a guaranteed 64% increase in exhibition space accommodating 200 exhibitors, plus 50 presentations and 140 interactive live workshops, an increase of 34%.
Representing the field of BIM as part of the Conference Programme include: Director of BIM at Black & Veatch, Ian Bush; Arup‘s Paul Hill, who will be discussing the relationship between BIM and GIS; Morten Hertz Knudsen of COWI, Denmark; US firm Materia‘s Kyle Schertzing, who will evoke discussion relating to BIM and LiDAR; Leica Geosystems‘ Paul Burrows; and Fred Mills, Founding Director of The B1M (read Fred’s BIM Brunch with us here).
Various seminar descriptions can be found over at the official Geo Business website, a link to which can be found here.
Referencing the 2015 edition last year when summing up 2014’s instalment, Director at Leica Geosystems UK, John Fraser said: “The UK needs a show like GEO Business. Leica Geosystems thoroughly enjoyed being present and assisting in creating the professional and positive vibe which such a show deserves. Let’s make it bigger, better and even more of an enjoyable experience next year ”. It seems like those plans to make the event more engaging and enjoyable are going incredibly smoothly!
GEO Business 2015 takes place at the Business Design Centre in London, United Kingdom from May 27th to May 28th.
