Electrical industry software developer Amtech are to showcase their latest solutions at BIM Show Live 2015.

Amtech – a Trimble company – will be demonstrating Trimble Field Link for MEP, their latest solution for mechanical & electrical contractors. Users of Field Link will utilise the software before transferring its results into BIM software.

According to the official press release, “Trimble Field Link solutions provide a fast, efficient and cost-effective alternative to traditional methods of laying out mechanical and electrical services on a construction site. As such, they offer significant benefits for both BIM and traditional projects, with up to five-fold increases in layout productivity on typical projects”.

Trimble Robotic Total Station will also be on display at #BSL2015, a tool allowing contractors to “lay out points generated in a 2D drawing or 3D building model and be guided to the precise location (to within millimetres) of the attachment points for pipework, ductwork, cable trays, etc. in the field.”

BIM Show Live delegates are encouraged to visit Stand 56 on April 8th and 9th to speak with Amtech’s digital experts to see how Amtech services could suit their needs.
