The BRE are looking for delegates to sign up to their BIM Accredited Professional (AP) training course, which is to run from February 17th – 18th, 2015. Following similar opportunities in Watford, this is the only one of BRE’s BIM workshops to take place in Wales.
The entirety of the UK BIM Task Group‘s Learning Outcome Framework (LOF) will be explained in the seminar and was developed in partnership with Avanti through Prof. Mervyn Richards OBE, who has authored and contributed towards most set of UK BIM standards.
Conducting the training will be Mr. Richards, Dan Rossiter, Consulting and Training Manager for BRE. Speaking to BIMcrunch regarding the training, Rossiter said: “When considering BIM the most important element is the ‘I’, Information. Focusing on the standards, methods and procedures, our courses educate attendees on proper information management, as well as the roles & responsibilities set out in the standards in order to properly manage a BIM scheme.”
The event marks the first part of BRE’s BIM education courses, and once all stages are completed, delegates who have progressed through all phases will be able to apply for BIM accreditation from BRE.
