The Aconex-sponsored event – inspired by the BrisBIM event series – was free to attend, with a capacity of 300 delegates. All 300 places were snapped up, with the official Twitter account confirming the news earlier today.
We've officially sold out! 300 tickets gone! Fabulous response! Sorry to those who can't make it this time – check the website for details.

Providing exclusive comment to BIMcrunch regarding the event, MelBIM Co-Founder and Executive Committee Member, IGS‘ Luke Johnston said: “It is a great privilege to work with other industry leaders in organising an important initiative like MelBIM. I’m certain it will become a valuable, enduring part of our industry.
“All going to plan, we intend on hosting MelBIM events every couple of months; similar to the BrisBIM group based in Brisbane (QLD) who have been running greatly successful, free to attend BIM-based events for almost two years now.”
Luke and the 11 other committee members surely have nothing to worry about regarding success due to the lightning-quick response that they have had!
The first-ever MelBIM conference will commence one-week today, February 24th, 2015. BIMcrunch will bring you more on the event in the coming weeks.
