BIM Task Group’s Mark Bew confirmed for BIM Today: 2016 & Beyond

The latest top industry name has been confirmed for an upcoming Building Information Modelling event hosted by the Institute of Civil Engineers, or ICE.

The United Kingdom‘s BIM Task Group are to be strongly represented at ‘BIM Today: 2016 & Beyond‘ as their Chairman, Mark Bew has been confirmed to attend. Whilst there, he will conduct a discussion on BIM Level 2, and how the Government’s attention-grabbing mandate is effectively just the beginning.

Previously confirmed to attend was the Task Group’s Head of BIM, Prof. David Philp. He will present the opening address.

In addition to Government representation, Crossrail‘s Head of Technical Information, Malcolm Taylor will also be in attendance. Taylor will conduct a case study entitled ‘BIM in Transport Infrastructure’.

The final confirmed name thus far is the University of Salford‘s BIM Specialist, Paul Coates who will examine ‘Target Value Design’.
