Ever wanted the chance to see what the latest Building Information Modelling objects look like, before you have even downloaded them?
A brand new Augmented Reality user experience created by the team at bimstore allows you to view 3D representations of BIM objects thanks to a creative new app and its unique camera functionality.
Several objects representing bimstore favourite manufacturers are available for the sneak-peek treatment at launch, with more to be added after various waves of daily updates.
By downloading the app – which is entirely free(!) – bimstore specifiers can save time by making sure that they are going to download the right content for their architectural models. Think of the Eye as a 3D product catalogue; pretty nifty if you ask us!
“bimstore Eye is a fun, new way for specifiers to visualise construction products,” stated bimstore Founder Adam Ward. “Because bimstore Eye is part of our growing ecosystem, we are hoping it will help manufacturers and their sales teams show off their BIM content, whilst specifiers can get a first look at their downloads.”
To download bimstore Eye, which is compatible for iPad and iPhone, follow this link.
To test out the app’s functionality, you can download the example brochures here and then scan them on your screen!
