Last week saw the inaugural #GreenBIM event take place in Leeds and the organisers have blogged about the success of the first meeting.

Green Vision and thinkBIM are behind the new discussion platform, which aims to address how Building Information Modelling and green building can fit together and the best ways to make the formation of ideas into a reality within projects.

Located at WSP‘s offices, 85 delegates including Tekla‘s Duncan Reed, Architype‘s Elrond Burrell and IBI Group‘s Peter Morton attended the day of deliberation, which was chaired by Ben Wallbank and featured a guest speaker in the UK BIM Task Group‘s Richard Lane.

To coincide with the event, the organisers have released all presentations from the event as PDFs, as well as compile a useful storify collection of comments and tweets for those not in attendance to see what topics were discussed.
