BIM Show Live is back for 2015 and the organisers are calling for speakers.
BIM Show Live is returning to Manchester for the next instalment, which is to commence in April 2015.
Last year’s BIM Show Live was the first year that the event had been held in Manchester, a city so popular with guests that BIM Show Live creator and Space Group CEO Rob Charlton had to have the BIM Show Live brand return.
“I am thrilled to announce that BIM Show Live will be returning to Manchester for the 2015 conference”, stated Charlton in an exclusive comment to BIMcrunch.
“With around 800 enthusiastic Building Information Modelling guests expected plus presentations and panel discussions from some of the industry’s biggest names, I can’t wait for next April to arrive.
“The judging panel are now looking for BIM experts from a variety of fields to come forward and submit their proposals to speak at the event. We welcome all who are enthusiastic about BIM to send in their applications.”
Think you can provide insightful guidance and want to be a speaker at the event? BIM Show Live organisers are currently looking for the most enthusiastic folk to step behind the rostrum and inform and educate their peers at the event.
In their Call for Papers announcement, BIM Show Live’s management expressed their interest in finding the right charismatic and experienced members of the #GlobalBIMCrew who can share “eureka moment” and perhaps a “major breakthrough on a challenging project”. The following topics are of most interest to #BSL2015 admin:
• ROI demonstrating the value BIM has brought to your business
• Benefits of BIM for buildings in use and asset management
• How BIM is being used by surveyors and the challenges faced
• BIM beyond buildings looking at infrastructure and landscape
The deadline for applications is Wednesday, December 17th, 2014.
Charlton commented that more BIM Show Live announcements are to be made in the coming months. He explained: “We have a lot more exciting BIM Show Live announcements to come in the near future so make sure you watch out on BIMcrunch to see the latest developments.”
The call for papers follows the recent announcement of BIM Show Live’s sister conference, BIM Show Live for Manufacturers. The new-look BIM Show Live logo and colour scheme were revealed back then , an eye-catching colour scheme that we were happy to adopt too. A little bit of synergy between Rethinc. It siblings is never a bad thing.
