Software giants Trimble have been announced as Gold Sponsors of this year’s GeoBIM Europe.

The announcement follows news that Trimble’s Vice President Bryn Fosburgh will be one of the guest speakers at the event, news BIMcrunch reported on last month.

Discussing Trimble’s stance as an industry leader in providing software solutions for the BIM and GIS communities, Geospatial Media commented: “Trimble has once again affirmed its strong commitment in the building and construction sector by confirming its participation as Gold Sponsor at GeoBIM Europe 2014. Trimble’s portfolio of synergistic hardware, software and service offerings streamlines communication and collaboration throughout the design-build-operate lifecycle of buildings, with targeted solutions that enable architects, structural professionals, MEP trades, General Contractors and Construction Managers, and Building Owners/Occupiers to realise greater accuracy, efficiency and quality.”

New industry speakers have also been announced for the event, representing the elite in European BIM. James Colclough, BIM/GIS Lead of European Transportation at AECOM is representing the UK, whilst EgisChristophe Castaing (who was the focus of a much talked-about BIMcrunch article) will take to the rostrum for France.

The inaugural GeoBIM Europe event, hosted by Geospatial Media and Geonovum, will take place in Novotel Amsterdam City, Amsterdam, The Netherlands on November 19th and November 20th.
