Registration for the latest Building Information Modelling event held by the Institute for BIM in Canada (IBC) and buildingSMART Canada is now open.

BIM Worldwide: Solutions for All Project Sizes – Success for Lifecycle Management aims to educate and inform attendees (whether they be building owners, architects or contractors) about the benefits BIM can provide if they decide to implement it on their projects.

A fantastic opportunity to network and make contacts (especially due to the international theme), the event will feature various panel discussions and presentations from guest speakers, each with their own stance on BIM, with all of them eager to inform listeners of their experiences and give them their advice.

Bob Hildenbrandt is current vice-chair of the Institute for BIM in Canada. Talking about the upcoming event, he said: “As part of fulfilling the IBC/buildingSMART Canada mission to foster BIM in Canada, this one-day event will provide valuable information for all construction project stakeholders, and will give some great insight into how to adopt BIM in their own environment.

“There are a number of countries that operate in a fully BIM oriented environment, and their lessons learned will provide great insight to all project stakeholders.”

Held in Toronto, Ontario, IBC and buildingSMART Canada’s BIM Worldwide: Solutions for All Project Sizes – Success for Lifecycle Management will take place on October 30th, 2014. Registration information for the event by following this link.
