New Building Information Modelling objects are now available from Purus, the Scandinavian purveyors of kitchen and bathroom sanitary-ware.

Purus concentrates its business in four key areas: floor gullies, indoor waste systems, stainless steel sanitary products and stainless steel interiors. Its BIM offering primarily consists of floor drains, but it has also made available two toilet fixtures.

New additions to Purus’ comprehensive BIM object range include the Minimax 50, Mini Brage 50 and 110 drainage systems and V131 Vägghängd Toalettstol toilet amongst others, taking their ‘family’ total to thirty-seven.

Henrik Nilsson, product developer at the manufacturer, says that building information modelling “adds value across the entire lifecycle of building and infrastructure projects”. For Purus, making their BIM objects readily accessible means they can get closer to architects overseas.
