Friul Mosaic release colourful alternative BIM objects

If you’ve ever wanted to add mosaic wall designs to your Building Information Models, you are finally in luck.

Friul Mosaic have released fifty BIM objects to decorate the walls of your BIMs and they are available for the GRAPHISOFT ArchiCAD platform.

The Italian artistic mosaic manufacturer launched the family of BIM objects due to high demand requested from architects and designers using BIM software. After working with professionals supplying unique design solutions for over 30 years, Friul thought it was a natural progression to supply the latest in unique design solutions, BIM.

Mosaic designs available for free download include Babilonia Gold, Foscari, Ibiscus, Mocenigo and Sparta and with over another 40 choices to choose from, the need for designers to create their won mosaic BIM objects has dwindled thanks to this impressive collection.

Speaking about the object launch, Nicola Avoledo of Friul Mosaic’s Marketing and Corporate Communications department said: “One of our distributors for the Russian market have suggested [BIM] for us. Thanks to the collaboration … we can meet the needs of customers and designers. At the same time we have the opportunity to increase the visibility of the brand and of the products.”
