It’s a great day for those looking for more Window BIM object options as a second company have released glazing Building Information Modelling objects.
Technal, which has been operating for over fifty years, this week released BIM representations of five of their façade systems including GEODE-MX curtain walling, SOLEAL and CD commercial door systems, SOLEAL 65 window system, MODAL low rise glazing and FXi65 casement window suite.
Speaking about the corporation’s latest initiative, Director for Technal, Jon Palethorpe said: “BIM has the potential to radically change the face of the construction industry, helping to increase efficiency and reduce time.
“As a business, we are committed to working in partnership with architects and contractors, and we are keen to be at the forefront of the use of BIM.
