GRAPHISOFT’s BIMcloud wins International Business Award

GRAPHISOFT are celebrating after one of their latest technological triumphs has scooped an award.

Cloud computing solution BIMcloud has been named the Best New Product or Service of the Year – Software category for Cloud Application/Service Stevie Award Winner at the International Business Awards, reports Ten Links.

BIMcloud is the only cloud computing outlet that due to its unique set of features, is specifically tailored to Building Information Modelling, offering a “true model-based BIM collaboration environment for companies and projects of any size”. All stakeholders of a build can have mobile access to a project when accessing the cloud-stored data, thus, creating a collaborative platform for all involved.

The awards are nicknamed the Stevies because of the Greek word for “crowned”. Although the award winners have been announced, companies and recipients won’t receive their awards until the official ceremony at the Westin Paris – Vendôme Hotel in Paris, France on 10 October.

Commenting on his company’s win, GRAPHISOFT CEO Viktor Varkonyi said: We are pleased and proud to be recognized by the International Business Awards for our efforts on behalf of architects, engineers, and contractors around the world. We look forward to celebrating the winners’ achievements in Paris on October 10.”
