The third consecutive Central States BIM Workshop has been hailed a major success.
The two-day event, held in Omaha, Nebraska on August 21st and 22nd, saw intermediate and advanced level of BIM training and education take place thanks to speeches from speakers at the forefront of the industry, who also held workshops to share their expertise.
Six standout workshops from the double day BIM experience included discussions on worksharing, laser scanning, MEP design, computational BIM, multi-discipline collaboration, and developing a business with BIM.
BIM Workshops Event Founder Carla Edwards has said that thanks to the positive feedback the event got from the 160 attendees, US-wide BIM Workshops will return in 2015. She stated: “The BIM Workshops started as a result of feedback from the Central States BIM community, so we are always grateful for the continuous support that the BIM community here has given us.
“Because of that support, we are very proud and excited to announce that the BIM Workshops will be returning to the Central States again in 2015. Dates, speakers, and registration information for 2015 will be announced on our website soon.”
One of the Central States guest speakers Paul F. Aubin said that the event is a prestigious event on the BIM calendar: “The BIM Workshop continues to be a high caliber event which I look forward to participating in. It is a pleasure to be a part of this premiere user event and a part of the distinguished group of speakers.”
30 class options will be available and 25 guest speakers will be appearing at the next 2014 Pacific Coast BIM Workshop event, held in Anaheim, California, registration to which can be submitted via this link.
