London-based professional services consultancy Waldeck are the latest company to be spotlighted in BIMcrunch’s BIM Vacancies feature.
New Civil Engineer (NCE) are reporting that the company are to hire 60 new staff, including energy and infrastructure professionals, with some of the latter persuasion being Building Information Modelling related roles.
Talking of the upcoming appointments, company founder Paul Welbeck said: “The next 25 years will see a boom in infrastructure building with an estimated £110bn of investment forecasted for energy-related projects by 2020.
“Our business is growing rapidly to help meet these infrastructure demands, and in order to continue to offer the most effective and efficient solutions for our clients, we’re looking for the best people possible to strengthen our delivery teams.”
The BIM-based roles NCE reported on are a BIM Manager position based in Bristol and Senior BIM Technicians to be based across Bristol, the South West and the East Midlands. The BIM Manager post will see a successful applicant work with a “prestigious” client who are leading the pack within the UK’s Nuclear Build industry. The chosen Bristolian Senior BIM Technician candidate will also be working alongside this forefront client. The Senior BIM Technicians based elsewhere will work within Waldeck’s own offices.
