BIM Vacancies’ latest post takes us across the pond to Texas in the United States.
Jericho HR Group have listed a new BIM Manager vacancy in representation of their architectural client in Dallas.
Experience within architecture or even interior design is positively viewed upon by the client, who list that the most important task carried out by the successful candidate be their implementation of the firm’s current BIM structure, “facilitating consistency across all sectors, disciplines and offices”, whilst also promoting the efficient use of Building Information Modelling on all company projects.
Other day-to-day roles as part of the job include assisting project teams in ensuring their models comply with company standards, reviewing Revit models, troubleshooting queries from team members who will use AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks software platforms, tracking Autodesk license usage and planning and carrying out continuous education bases on current developments and updated software amongst other tasks.
Interested parties should have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and/or Interior Design or an equivalent qualification and have three to five years experience with the architecture, engineering and construction sector. LEED accreditation is preferred, as is knowledge of how to operate Revit MEP, API and Structure. The ability to travel to project sites is required alongside being flexible, self-motivated and enthusiastic about BIM.
