Want to work on some nationwide rail infrastructure projects? Well a Hyder Consulting job listing has pulled into the BIMcrunch BIM Vacancies station.
Hyder are looking for the BIM Manager to be based around East Kilbride and Glasgow in Scotland to work on rail projects, a sector which makes up 16% of the firm’s global business. Whilst working with many clients including Network Rail in the UK, the role will also see the chosen candidate liaise and manage a rail infrastructure team in Bangalore, India.
Other duties to be carried out include interacting with team leaders to ensure projects are resourced efficiently, carrying out meetings on BIM standards, implementing cost effective BIM training measures and be willing to travel to other Hyder Rail UK offices when necessary amongst other tasks.
Requirements for the role range from having a familiarity with Microstation production to possessing excellent team management skills to presenting experience of integrating BIM on past multi-disciplinary rail projects.
