A recruitment consultancy specialising in the design and creative industries has posted three new job vacancies, all steeped in building information modelling.
Two of the jobs posted on jobs site Mustard are with the same Hertfordshire construction firm, who are looking for an architect and an architectural technician. Described as a “friendly and thriving outfit”, the company in question have found their niche in “high-value” residential projects.
“For both positions we are hoping to see a background full of quality residential schemes,” the combined listing states. Aptitude with Revit and AutoCAD are strongly preferred.
Successful applicants can expect to start immediately.
The proposed salaries are dependent on experience, with the technical-led role fetching between £30,000 – £35,000. This job also requires a minimum of experience of five years in the UK. The architect’s salary is between £35,000 – £42,000.
As you might expect from the title of the third job – Revit Technician – experience with Autodesk’s software is required here, too. This Surrey-based opening is offering a salary of £33,000 – £38,000 for “impressive technical knowhow”.
As well as residential projects, the company has a “strong foot hold” in the care home sector.
The listing suggests that this is a company who has fully embraced building information modelling: “Revit has steadily grown in its importance with the firm and this role is reliant on your ability to hit the ground running on the tool.”
