BIM Vacancies: Senior Lecturer and BIM Detailers

The latest selection of BIM Vacancies spotlight exciting opportunities on both sides of the Atlantic.

Firstly, based in the UK, an opening at the University of Middlesex, London has became available, with the educational institution looking to hire a Senior BIM Lecturer.

The Department of Design Engineering and Mathematics at the university are looking to expand their Building Information Modelling teaching, which has thus far “been a great success”. They are seeking “an enthusiastic and a motivated individual to join” their team and turn their ambitions into a reality.

Applicants should ideally be from the architecture (or a related) industry and provide research showing a strong track record of research or practice of BIM. An added bonus would be if the candidate can help within other areas of the department also.

Pay will range from £34,737 to £47,200 and the deadline for applications is July 10th, 2014. Learn more about the role here.

Today’s second vacancy takes us to San Diego, California where a local BIM services firm are looking to hire experienced electrical, fire protection, HVAC and plumbing BIM detailers.

Interested parties should be experienced at using Revit or AutoCAD for mechanical, electrical or plumbing purposes (depending on their discipline) and they should also be adept with Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
