BAM Construct UK are the latest company to feature in our BIM Vacancies Round-up.
The construction giant’s North East regional wing are looking for a Building Information Modelling Coordinator to join their Leeds office and directly report to the Design and Planning Director.
The chosen candidate will be at the helm of both bid and project teams, ensuring BIM is implemented as effectively as possible, capitalising on all potential efficiency opportunities. The successful candidate will also liaise with everyone on a project timeline from consultants, facilities management teams, supply chain workers and more.
Other roles expected from the new recruit include developing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) before supporting and auditing their implementation in-line with BAM procedures, providing technical support and informal training to project teams, creating Asset Information Models (AIMs) where necessary and also to help collaborate with nationwide initiatives by sharing BIM expertise with external working groups.
Skills and experience required include being a flexible team player who showcases exemplary communication and organisational skills, proficiency in 3D modelling software such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks and general Windows operating software such as Microsoft Office. The listing also explains that BAM are looking for someone who possesses a design or construction related degree and someone who can manage their time efficiently.
Although not essential, working knowledge of BS1192 and PAS1192 standards are desired, as is experience working with Point Cloud data.
