Northumbria talent Revealed this June

Northumbria University’s highly anticipated graduate degree show, Reveal, is due to take place this June, highlighting the very best of its architecture, arts, design and media work to prospective students and Northern employers.

The Reveal show will be open for public admission every weekday between 19 – 27 June at a range of venues across the University’s City campus. It will bring together the architecture, arts, design and media graduating students of 2014, allowing them to showcase their wares in front of industry professionals and the general public.

Part of Northumbria University’s renowned programme of graduate arts and design shows, Reveal offers an invaluable opportunity for students to raise their industry profile and generate career prospects.

Northumbria University is ranked in the top ten nationally for  the number of graduates entering professional employment, and Reveal gives businesses in the region and beyond the chance to preview the North East’s up-and-coming talent and ‘ones to watch’ for the future.

Dr Heather Robson, Associate Dean, Business and Engagement for Arts, Design and Social Sciences at Northumbria University, said: “Last year, we received over 80 international and national awards for our arts, design and architecture programmes, and were delighted to see graduates such as Sally Hewett walk away with the much-coveted Topshop award at Graduate Fashion Week in London, and architecture student Carl Harper achieve national recognition in the Building Design Magazine student awards.

“It’s the culmination of many years of hard work for our students and we are proud to showcase their talent to the world and see their careers soar to extraordinary heights. It’s also an exciting opportunity for the general public to gain a sneak preview of new artwork and cutting-edge design before it hits the stage, screen and shelves.”
