HOCHTIEF ViCon announce service extension on Qatari projects

Leading Building Information Modelling service provider Hochtief ViCon have announced the extension of their services on selected building projects in Qatar.

On the various projects that Hochtief ViCon will continue to work on, the firm will provide laser scanning and associated as-built documentation. The renewal of work comes due to the increased prevalence of laser scanning within BIM projects as it is now a critical practice and service that adds tremendous value.

Hochtief ViCon are touting laser scanning as a means of providing a cost-effective method of gathering current locations of building components, bolstering efficiency.

In addition to the prolonging of their services, Hochtief ViCon have acquired two new laser scanning projects in the Western Asian country. The duo of assignments will commence in Education City in Qatar, and Hochtief ViCon will develop BIM documentation based “on 3D laser scanning converted into an augmented BIM model”.
