DVTEL launch video surveillance BIM objects

New Jersey-based video security company DVTEL have announced the release of their Building Information Modelling objects.

Architects and engineers alike can now add DVTEL 3D Quasar camera objects to their Revit BIMs, making sure that initial design stages and digital prototypes include even the finest of details that would perhaps be otherwise overlooked.

Within Revit, designers will have access to a scheduled report of all installed Quasar objects, up-to-date camera information and be able to select various mounting options.

DVTEL Director of Product Marketing JickoChetrit spoke about why the company decided to delve into BIM.

“Our goal was to develop a simple yet useful tool to provide our partners with the support and information required to make intelligent choices that affect the reliability and value of the system design.”
