Deadline for BIM 2050 Design Challenge pushed back

The competition to design the front cover of BIM 2050’s industry report has been pushed back to June the 13th.

BIM 2050, which is affiliated with the BIM Task Group, wants to put an image that is “digital, innovative and representative of the future of the construction industry” on the front of its report, which will represent around 500,000 people and 25,000 construction firms. In late May it sent out a call for submissions, which is extended by a week on Friday.

On the judging panel are eight industry experts, moderated by the digital designer and director of Digital Node, Rebecca De Cicco. Impress them enough, and not only will you “showcase your vision of the future to the entire construction industry”, but you’ll also be rewarded with a free iPad Mini.

Entries should be suitable for A3 printing, at 600DPI, and sent to Further details up on the BIM 2050 website.

Now that there’s more time left on the clock, will you be participating?
