ViCon reflects on its time at this year’s BIM Show Live.
“Best presentation of the conference”, “case study with the biggest impact” and “inspiring content” were only a few of the comments ViCon received after René Schumann’s presentation at this year’s BIM Show Live.
BIM Show Live is the industry’s most important BIM-centred networking event in the UK. This year, it took place over two days and was held in Manchester for the first time. There were 4 stages, 40 presentations, 60 industry experts and 670 delegates, with ViCon were right in the middle of it.
Mr Schumann presented “a realistic approach to BIM implementation”. He explained ViCon’s “Five Components” implementation methodology based on two current projects: Baltic2 – an offshore wind park in Germany –, and Lusail City, a 37 km2 urban infrastructure development, where ViCon has been managing BIM for five years running.
Having celebrated the opening of a new branch in London three weeks ago, ViCon is a new player in the UK despite its significant experience gained in over 400 projects worldwide during the last decade. ViCon provides BIM Implementation, BIM Managers and outsources BIM services.
