COWABUNGA! Editor Jack White chats to the voice behind bimstore’s Ermintrude, Julie Donaldson.

There are many recognizable names and faces within the #BIMCrew, yet one lady is seeking all of the attention and getting the Building Information Modelling commoo-nity talking like no other. I am of course talking about bimstore’s Ermintrude the Cow.

The lovable yellow mascot has been a legen-dairy attraction at BIM Show Live for the last couple of years and she recently made her video debut, explaining how to use bimstore and navigate through the website.

In a jovial change of pace, BIMcrunch’s Editor-in-Chief spoke to Julie Donaldson, the ‘udderly’ talented voice behind Ermintrude.

Julie speaks candidly about her early life entertaining family and friends with impersonations before discussing how she came to love performing vocally. The voiceover actress also talks about past elements of her career, including working at the BBC as a Broadcast Journalist and as a lecturer at the University of Sunderland.

Of course, Julie also channels her inner Ermintrude for listeners and shows off her best Sarah Millican impression too!

Listen to Jack’s interview with Julie below.
