Hot on the heels of their exclusive statement to us regarding last Thursday’s highly controversial Construction Computing Awards 2015, official photographs documenting the ceremony have been released.
Photographs from the tables of guests make up most of the gallery, along with snaps of award winners receiving their prizes. Of course, much like most events with #BIMBeers, it would be a shame to not see the community enjoying themselves on the dancefloor too.
Big winners on the night include GRAPHISOFT who won three awards. The tech giants received recognition in the BIM Project of the Year, Company of the Year and BIM Product of the Year categories. The latter is the fourth time in a row that the firm have scooped the gong, whilst the former category saw another GRAPHISOFT development finish as a runner-up.
Elsewhere, the likes of Elecosoft took home the trophy in the Project Management/Planning Software category. The last few months have been highly successful for the firm, who recently held their own user forum of which material is now available to watch online.
The event organisers issued an apology exclusively via BIMcrunch following sexist and xenophobic remarks made by the comedian they had booked for the event. The team have said that they were “absolutely devastated” by the upset caused, explaining that “some of the routine on the night was not what we had seen before”.
