Build New York Live was the latest BIM collaboration competition organised by Asite that saw over 10 teams across the world battle it out virtually to design the best structures within Hudson Yard, Manhattan.
The competition entrants were tasked with designing the Hudson Yards Sports Arena, helping create a vision for sports-based community outreach within the area. They also had to model a Residential Tower slightly to the east, the design being sympathetic to the arena and other elements of Hudson Yard. Quite the task for just 48 hours!
Five awards were distributed in total, and the winners can be seen below.

Best Use of BIM for Sustainability or Constructability – BIM Unlimited
Judges Discretionary Award – One WYG
